How fast the months fly!
July is here and that means that my new Harlequin Superromance, Best for the Baby, will only be on bookstands a little while longer. Thank you so much for your positive comments regarding this story. I'm heartened that so many of you have contacted me directly to say how much you liked it. Believe me, a writer never tires of hearing the good stuff. Now, if only I'd hear from my Harlequin editor about that NEXT submission. Time to get writing again!
This month is also my birth month. I've already received one of my presents from my darling family.

A pretty new purple IPOD! I've never had one before and I can't wait to play around with it, and fall asleep on the beach to the sounds of the waves and music in my ears.

I mention the beach because in a couple of days I make the annual trek with my family down to Sanibel Island. A week in our lovely unit overlooking the pool and the beach is sooooo terrific, but the best part of all--spending time with my family. Life just doesn't get any better than that. Sanibel Island is our happy place.

Before I head off to start packing, I'll just share with you a great 4th of July card from my postcard collection. It's from 1910 and Lady Liberty has never looked prettier.
